I spent the time watching videos on the WatchKnow site. I am doing immigration in my A.P. classes right now and I was able to find quite a few videos that I could show to kids about the topic. What I liked best was that is was a mixture of full documentaries, documentary clips, homemade slideshows, and also primary document footage. Many of them I could use as either content or a way to look at how information was delivered to students in the past. This will definitely be a great source for me and my classroom.

Wiki
I have been wanting to try a wiki in the classroom and finally created one today. It is on the 13 colonies and my students are going to create a wikipage for their assigned colony by working off my main page. That way all kids can access it at all times and can easily work with a partner because it allows them work from their own computer and not having to share one.
